I got one of these today for payment on a bill that was way overdue that I had mentally written off...........typical story, good friend I was helping out and his life fell apart........
His uncle passed away and he inherited some guns, he gave me this Browning A2000 12 G with a full barrel and a modified both vent rib......NIB unfired.....Belgium made
Anyone ever owned one? Worth?
Not a lot of info on the web on them

Talk a walk through a barnes & noble and find the Gun Traders Guide, you can lookup the current values in there. Usually you can find one open and take a look w/o purchasing.
Great book to own too.

Depending on grade, condition, specific model, etc. I'd guess 250 to 750 bucks. You can call Browning with the serial number and they will tell you when it was made, any recalls (I think there was concern with those guns and accidental discharge at one time) etc.
They are cool - but pretty hig maintenance. Different rings for different loads, mag vs field, etc.

My book is a little outdated. Which Browning 2000 is it? Standard, Magmum, Skeet, Trap, Buck Special.... The Standard was produced in Belgium in 1975 to 1979. They were continually assembled in Portugal into 1983. 115,000 were imported between 1974-83. 26", 28", or 30" barrel, various chokes, vent. rib, gas operated, checkered pistol grip stock. A 100% Standard is listed at $380
